KARACHI: The dealers of artificial fertilizers have been accused of black marketing of urea fertilizer due to absence of printed price on 20-kg sacks, forcing cultivators to pay extra 100 rupees on purchase of one urea fertilizer sack, Geo news reported.The chairman Agri Forum Ibrahim Mughal told Geo news government fixed Rs. 750 as the price of one urea fertilizer sack but despite that, the dealers have started black marketing, selling a urea bag at Rs. 850 as the fixed prices are not printed on urea bags.
This black marketing has put additional financial burden on farmers especially in wheat cultivation season, he said.
