South Afghanistan blasts kill 30, injure many

KANDAHAR: Thirty people have been killed and scores others wounded in a string of suicide attacks on Saturday in Afghanistan's southern city of Kandahar city, the head of the city's main hospital said.

Among the dead were civilians and police, said Abdul Qayyum Pukhla.
