Mothers of detained US hikers on way to Iran

The mothers collected their visas last week

The mothers of three American hikers who are in jail in Iran have been granted visas by the Iranian government and are on their way to visit their children in jail.

The three were hiking in Iraqi Kurdistan in July last year when they apparently strayed over the unmarked border into Iran and were arrested.

They have since been held in Tehran's Evin prison.

Laura Fattal is the mother of one of the three prisoners, Josh Fattal.
