Kabul suicide bombing kills 18
A suicide bomb attack on a Nato convoy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, has killed at least 18 people, including six foreign troops.
The US military confirmed five of the dead were American soldiers.
Nearly 50 people were also injured in the attack, the worst in the city for months.
Police said the bomber, driving a car laden with explosives, targeted the convoy during the morning rush hour near the Afghan parliament and government buildings.
