Nawaz signs deal for indemnity to Musharraf: Munawar

Nawaz signs deal for indemnity to Musharraf: Munawar LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawar Hassan has said PML-N chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has signed deal over provision of indemnity to former President Musharraf while not trial could ever be conducted in Raiwind under Article 6 of constitution.

This he said during Iftar party gathering hosted in honor of journalists here in Mansoora on Thursday.

He said Nawaz Sharif is part of government like MQM, ANP and JUI parties and if it were not so, so he would never withdraw 48-hour ultimatum.

Nawaz Sharif is no different from president Zardari due to US pressure while the recent war of statement between PPP and PML-N, has done nothing but damaged country’s interests, he added.

He urged upon government to summon All Parties’ Conference (APC) over Balochistan issue besides registration of case against former president Musharraf over murder of Nawab Akber Bugti so that Baloch people might be relieved a bit. Link...
