ISLAMABAD: The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved 20 projects worth Rs259 billion in a meeting held Thursday with federal finance minister Shaukat Tarin in chair.The meeting approved Rs128 billion for the restoration of the Circular Railway. Also, the projects for dams worth Rs16.92 have been approved in the meeting.
The meeting is mulled over 20 development projects worth Rs 259 billion for approval. Projects include the development of water reservoirs, infrastructure and social sector.
The members at the outset of the ECNEC meeting prayed for early recovery of Federal Religious Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi who was hurt in murder attempt outside his office yesterday. Link...
