Gold touches all time high

KARACHI: The gold has reached all time high in country’s history, as its price has touched the highest level of Rs25,714 up Rs532/10 grams.

Talking to Geo News, All Sindh Sarraf Jewelers Association President Haji Haroon Chand said the surge in gold price has been occasioned by the dollar depreciation in the international market and large-scale purchase of gold by India.

Also, per tola price of gold has climbed up to Rs30,000 for the first time, he informed.

Haroon Rasheed Chand said price of an ounce of gold is at $983 with an addition of $27 and 50 cents in international market. Link...
